👋 Hi everyone! Excited to be part of this group!
I’m with Catapult Labs, an Atlassian Marketplace Partner, where we’ve spent nearly seven years building tools to enhance Agile ceremonies—from retrospectives to estimation and stand-ups. Working closely with Agile teams across different industries has given us a front-row seat to the challenges (and wins!) that come with scaling Agile practices.
What is an antiquated way of working, and how would you want to see it change?
One thing we see often is teams running Agile ceremonies without a clear feedback loop. Retrospectives, stand-ups, and planning sessions should drive real, measurable improvements—otherwise, they risk becoming routine rather than impactful. I’d love to explore how teams here ensure their ceremonies translate into actionable change.
What do I hope to bring to this group?
I’d love to share insights from the Agile teams we’ve worked with, discuss ways to improve Agile processes (especially in distributed teams), and learn from all of you! Agile is constantly evolving, and these discussions always spark new ideas that help us refine the tools we build.
Looking forward to exchanging ideas and learning from this community!

Hi Everybody,
I am Laura working as Business Analyst. In my Company, we have adopted Agile methodologies more than 10 years ago and recently we made a very big effort in migrating from on prem Jiras to Atlassian Cloud. I am working as Jira architecture expert within my Business Unit of more than 500 people.
Hey all! I'm Gary Spross. I'm an Atlassian admin for a software company. I administer most Atlassian products including Jira, JSM, JPD, Confluence, Opsgenie, & Statuspage. I am most passionate about keeping a clean instance! Looking forward to continue helping out and learning from the community!
Hello everyone,
Here are some of my Icebreaker answers:
1. I work in Tech Support, where I’ve found Jira to be an invaluable tool—especially for getting familiar with Agile methodology.
2.One outdated habit I often encounter is neglecting documentation. While it might seem old-fashioned, documenting solutions is critical—especially when onboarding new team members like me. I do not want to impose on other people's work hours so relying on documentation saves time. I've also found that when you write down the way a task is completed it's easier to spot unnecessary or duplicate steps.
6. In my free time, I enjoy learning foreign languages and I’m also part of a jazz dance group.
Welcome to the community @Argiro Marioli, I fully see where you're coming from with neglecting documentation; we had a system go wrong recently which the IT support team had not been told existed (the engineer who wrote it had left the company 2 years ago) - trying to fix something that we didn't know we had and which had no documentation was challenging!
Hi everyone! I’m Vinicius, passionate about teamwork, Agile practices, and helping teams get the best out of Atlassian tools. I’m excited to connect, learn, and grow with you all!
Nice to meet you all and greetings from Belgium!
I've been a Jira and Confluence admin for a diverse range of teams for about 15 years now. Most teams are eager to adopt an agile methodology and get the most out of our Atlassian tools. From time to time a team seems stuck, holding on to Excel, email and sharepoint. The biggest challenge is getting them to 'see the light' and get on board! How do you approach a team like that?
My favorite configuration tip? Make it simple!
(Take a step back to see the big picture, focus on what adds value)
Our favorite add-ins? Structure & ScriptRunner
When I'm not working I enjoy gardening, bouldering, drawing, painting and ... gymnastics (where agility is an important skill to have :-) )
Welcome to the community @Bert Dombrecht , I feel your excel pain!
When I've had a team that seems stuck with excel, etc. one thing I've done that works is copying part of a spreadsheet into Jira / JSM / JPD and then doing a session with the team where I show how easy it is to track progress using Jira vs the spreadsheet while pointing out that spreadsheets still have their place for data manipulation etc
I also show them automation I've set up to send alerts to MS Teams where the entire team can access it rather than information being lost in an email chain, and how we integrate Confluence for our documentation.
Hi all, its wonderful seeing so many fellow business people on this platform, just glad to be part of it.
Hi all!
I've recently found myself in a job position where I do nearly all of the Jira/JSM support. It's exciting!
Outside of work, I have a menagerie of pets and I like to draw.
Popping in to say hello in this corner of the ecosystem 👋
I work within the marketing realm for The Adaptavist Group. I look forward to exploring more in the Agile Community Group!
