Can I only import to a different instance of confluence?

Hi Kimberly,

The best imports to import back into Confluence are XML backups, made from the space tools console. If the space that they are exported from still exists on the target instance, they cannot be reimported to that instance until the space they came from is gone.

Please let me know more about your use case. Maybe instead of exporting and re-importing, it would be sufficient to move the page within the instance?
