Cannot edit or add pages after upgrading to 6.10

I have just upgraded from server 6.7 to 6.10.

The pages are displayed ok, but hitting the "Edit" or "Create" button makes the loading whell spin forever and a warning is displayed:

This page is taking longer to load than usual. Give it a few moments, then try refreshing. Still having issues? Contact your Confluence admin.

Anybody have any ideas what can course this, and what i can do to fix it?
