To disallow other users from editing your blog post, as a space admin, you should not grant 'Add Blog' permisision to other users but yourself. This will disable 'Edit' button from appearing in the blog for other users.
Sounds like he has a blog that has multiple authors, and wants each author to only be able to edit/add their own blog posts. I'd like to know if there's a solution to this too.

Wolfgang, Confluence has several permissions about restricting the ability of users to perform actions on pages/spaces. I'm not entirely sure about what you are trying to accomplish, but you should be able to prevent users from editing a page by hitting the 'Tools' option (located at the top right corner of the page) and selecting 'Restrictions' - there you will be able to restrict editing of the page.

Is there a solution to prevent editing other blog posts?
