In our confluence Server installation (version 6.1.1) there is no user with sysadmin privileges left. The only one is "sysadmin" with the emailadress "noreply@atlassian.com".
Is there a way to reset the password for the sysadmin user? Can we somehow convert another user to have sysadmin rights?
We have root access to the server where confluence is installed.
Thanks a lot, Cheers
Maddin and Franz
Hi Martin,
If you have access to the database Confluence is using, you may follow this article to recover admin access to the instance: Restore Passwords To Recover Admin User Rights.
In Confluence 6.5 we improved the recovery procedure, but in Confluence 6.1.x you will have to do it with SQL queries.
Thanks,
Ann
