I have created a very specific custom field in JIRA for project reporting. Is there a way to link to that issue plus display what data is in the new custom field?

What do you mean "link to a custom field"?  You can draw JIRA issues (and hence their data) into Confluence with the JIRA macros that are built-in.

Here is an example of what I want to do. Jira issue A - Field B contains xyz and Filed C contains rst I would like 3 columns on a confluence page: Column1 Column 2 Column 3 Jira Issue xyz rst

Found exactly what I was looking for under display options when linking JIRA issue.

So the JIRA macro worked. Good news!
