I have recently configured emailed requests for our service desk project.
Emailed requests only allow Summary and Description fields.
Is there a way that the email that customer sends have more info that can be mapped to the custom JIRA fields for email request type?

Emailed requests are limited to two fields: Summary (mapped to the subject of the email) and Description (mapped to the content of the email).
If you'd like to gather more information in a structured way, please direct your customers to the portal.
As a workaround, you can Extract Content out of Description and Summary with Regex and Automation
