Automation that would create One Epic from email received

Hi there,

Is there a way to create an automation in a Kanban Project that would create 1 Epic from an email that is received from a client or  an outside source (for example from a different account) and then create issues within that epic?

In JSM project, why are you creating EPIC?.. EPIC issue type is associated with Jira project and not for JSM.

In Jira project, you can customize your workflow when an EPIC is created, then it automatically creates child issues.  We uses add-on Jira Misc Workflow Extensions to setup the custom post function @ issue creation time (NOTE - We usually don't auto create child issues that roll-up to the EPIC)
