Looking for a comparable list of Custom Field supported by both On-Prem and Cloud for migration prep

Hi, I am migrating from Jira on-prem to the Jira Cloud and I would like to know if we are currently using any Custom Fields that will not be supported in the cloud environment.  Can someone please point me to a list where I can compare the two environments in relation to Custom Fields specifically.

Thank You

Adam L.

This is quite an easy question - all the field types that standard Jira applications provide are on Cloud too.  If the field type is part of Jira Core, Jira Software or Jira Service Management, you'll be able to migrate it fine.

Fields provided by apps - you'll need to check with the vendor.

Scriptrunner's Scripted Fields, for example, can't be done the same way on Cloud, at the very least, the script needs a rewrite.  Other vendors have different types of field, of which not many are directly supported, but there are usually migration paths to the way Cloud can support the field.

There is no list, but you can generate one by simply looking at your list of custom fields - they usually tell you if any particular field is from an app rather than a Jira field.
