Error when uploading csv file

I've looked at older Jira tickets and they didn't help me so i had to ask. When uploading my .csv file, I get this message:

• The value [{null=Function Test}] can't be added to the Custom Field [discovery process]. The value [{null=Function Test}] can't be found or is in the incorrect format
• The value [{null=Bench Bench}] can't be added to the Custom Field [occurrence environment]. The value [{null=Bench Bench}] can't be found or is in the incorrect format
• The value [{null=N. America}] can't be added to the Custom Field [Destination]. The value [{null=N. America}] can't be found or is in the incorrect format

 These are mandatory fields and I cannot upload through admin.

What type of fields are these custom fields?

Can you provide a small sample of the CSV file with these rejected values?

I don't know the actual term but they all have predetermined answers in a drop down box. 

I can upload only the rejected fields, but I had to omit the rest due to it being sensitive information.

I was unable to upload the .csv file, so I took a snippet of the screen.

@Trudy Claspill While looking through the page source, It said the data field type is select.

Have you confirmed that the values you have provided in the CSV are values that are available in the respective fields, through the UI?
