How can I update Original Estimate after work has been completed

Hi,

My team did not submit their estimate (fill field Original Estimate) before the start of work, part of the work was completed. However, I would like to make estimation retrospectively for those tasks that have been completed.
I know that we can reopen the issues completed -> fill Original Estimate -> close the issues, however, this approach will break the statistic on the team's progress.
Is it possible to somehow enter the data retrospectively without changing the status of the issues?

Just make sure that you have the field for estimating time present in the edit screen and simply edit it even though the issue is already closed. That doesn't matter and the status doesn't change.
