Cannot find the backlog page in Jira

Emilia Vanderwerf May 1, 2018

I am attempting to follow these instructions to create a Sprint: https://www.atlassian.com/agile/tutorials/sprints. The first step is to go to the Backlog page. However, even as an administrator, I cannot find the Backlog page.

All of the JIRA Agile Add-On modules have been enabled. (This was the solution for another person on this board, but it didn't work for me.)

Please send me instructions on how to access or enable the Backlog page.

@Nic Brough -Adaptavist-I found another place where you answered this question. :) I must create an Agile board instead of trying to use the Kanban board to create a Sprint.

Jira Agile only exists for Jira 6 and below, but the docs you are reading are for 7 upwards.

Could you check if you are running Jira 6 + Agile, or Jira Software (help -> about, at the top right will tell you if you're not sure)

Sure. I am running:

JIRA v7.4.0

Am I still able to create a sprint in Jira version 7?
