How do I edit the fields on my Kanban board?

I go to edit the fields and it only lets me move them around. I am under "issue layout" 

I saw this link, but when I click it it doesn't load: This issue type show the fields defined in HO: Kanban Default Issue Screen.

Hi Erika - What do you mean by Edit the field fields? Do you want to remove or add fields to a screen? Do you want to change the actual field itself somehow?

I want to add a field to the screen. It only lets me reorganize/move them around and not actually EDIT.
