I would like to disable the "Log Work" (screenshot provided below) option so that the employees are forced to use the "Automated Log Work" timer instead.
Right now, the employees are using the log work option to manually enter their working hours, which makes it difficult for us to track the actual hours spent by a dev on a particular task. Please let me know if there is any way by which I can disable this option so that the employees will be forced to use the "Automated Log Work" option and would have to start and stop timer in order to log their work.
More specifically, in the below screenshot, I want to disable the option marked red and force them to use the one marked green. Please advise.
Have you tried to remove permissions to all user except the app under project settings > permissions - time tracking ?

yes but you might want to remove all time tracking permissions. Unsure of your desires here.

I cannot say. I believe this is an addon? I am not familiar with that application.
