Did you mean:

We can't create this issue for you right now

email bot April 27, 2018

Full error message is:

We can't create this issue for you right now, it could be due to unsupported content you've entered into one or more of the issue fields. If this situation persists, contact your administrator as they'll be able to access more specific information in the log file.

Not sure why I'm getting this error now.  It was working fine all along.  Error occurs every time I try to create a new Jira case.

Hi Mr. Email Bot :)

There is probably an error in the post function. Steps to troubleshoot can be found here:

  2. Move up Move down Edit DeleteThe Priority of the issue will be set to High.
  3. Move up Move down Edit DeleteThe Descriptor of the issue will be set to Select Descriptor From Component.
  4. Move up Move down Edit DeleteCreates the issue originally.
  5. Move up Move down Edit DeleteRe-index an issue to keep indexes in sync with the database.
  6. Move up Move down Edit DeleteFire a Issue Created event that can be processed by the listeners.

Question is, did one of your recent upgrades change something.  This was always working up until Jan 22.

If you are using Jira Server this link may help:

If not or if you are using Cloud you may need to contact support to get them.
