I've set up two automations rule for my next-gen project:
1. Move to "IN PROGRESS" when commit created (this works just fine)
2. Move to "DONE" when PR is merged
What's really weird is that the automation runs succesfully on the tickets, and says that it has moved them to done.
However, that's not true, they stay permanently in the "IN PROGRESS" swimlane:
How can I fix his?
If you post more details about your automation rule, that will help the community consider what is happening and offer advice.
Something for you to check: are you certain the correct issue is selected transitioning?
To diagnose this, please consider:
Best regards,
Bill
I'm sorry, I don't know how clearer I can be.
* In the automation log, first screenshot, it says the rule ran and transitioned the issue to "DONE"
* On the board, second screenshot, it has not moved.
Both screenshots point to the same issue, OOSF-269
The rule is simple:
On PR merge, move issue to "DONE"
In the log, there are no errors and says the rule executed successfully

Thanks for the information.
For the individual issue that should have moved to Done, what do you see in the item's activity log? Does it indicate the automation ran? Does it indicate the item moved to Done?
If neither happened, please consider adding the suggested logging to better see what is happening.
