My account email has changed and now my automations are greyed-out.
Already tried:
- log in and out
- copy a rule to new
- enabled/disabled rules
- created a new rule
So i can access the rules and change them, create new ones, but they are ALL greyed-out.
My account looks ok. Any ideas where to look?
EDIT:
- My account is Jira admin and Project admin
- the rules can be triggered bij 'all logged in users'
- the current usage of automations is not even 5% of what we can have
- we migrated to another email address and it looks i'm the only user with the problem.
EDIT:
I noticed that i can use the automations when i first open a ticket as popup and then click on the icon there.
But for example the 'make new ticket' creates a new ticket, add text to the description, but does NOT add the LABEL, so my new ticket is somewhere in the backlog and not in the right column. I can add the Label by hand afterwards, so it is available.
That used to work before migrating to the new emailadress and i use my automations mainly on the main page and not in tickets.
We found out that this is a bug introduced with the new jira menu navigation.

Is this only for your account or others see the same as well?

@Tom Laurijssens , can you check on the automation's configuration to see whether there are restrictions on who can trigger it?

Perhaps the email thing hides something else. Have you checked whether you (still) have correct project roles? And whether these roles also are allowed to use automation? (Or do you have a free license, where roles do not apply?)

i can make new rules, but after that, they are greyed-out. Admin checked my role and it is ok.

Coult it be that you are Jira Admin but not project admin, neither project user? In that case, you may not be allowed to modify contents of a project, but still create automation rules as a Jira admin.
