Plugin ignores branch permissions

The 'stash instant edit' plugin appears to be ignoring branch permissions. For example, a user who does not have permission to push to the master branch is able to go to the web interface and edit files directly on the server in that branch. Is there any way to enforce this restriction?

instant - edit only respect the project permission and not the branch permission. I've created a new issue:
