FAQ: AI-powered meeting notes Beta

Common Questions

 Question

Answer

1. What is this open beta for? This open beta is a chance for you to experience and provide feedback on the new feature, AI-powered meeting notes. Your input will help us refine and optimize it before the official release, ensuring it meets your expectations and needs.
2. How can I join the beta? Watch this Loom for a step-by-step guide to setup Loom meeting recordings with AI-powered meeting notes.
3. What do I need to participate in the beta?

 To participate, you’ll need:

  • A Loom Business + AI or Loom Enterprise subscription
  • A paid Confluence license (Standard, Premium, or Enterprise)
  • Meeting Recordings and AI-powered meeting notes enabled on Loom.com

4. What are the expected outcomes of this beta?

During this beta, we are focused on:

  • Identifying bugs or issues
  • Understanding how the feature works within your day-to-day
  • Gathering feedback on its usability and overall design
  • Improving performance and ensuring it integrates smoothly with existing functionality
5. How long will this beta last? The beta will be open until this feature transitions to general availability (GA) later this year.
6. What kind of feedback are you looking for?

We’re primarily interested in your feedback on:

  • Any bugs or crashes you experience
  • Issues with the usability or UI design
  • Performance concerns – slow loading, unresponsiveness, delays, etc.
  • Any missing features, new ideas, or things you’d like to see improved
7. How do I submit feedback or report bugs?

There are two feedback forum threads to share your feedback. One is for bug reports or usability issues and the other is for feature wishlists and enhancements.

If you’re experiencing an urgent issue, please submit a support request.

For bugs, please make sure to include detailed steps on how to reproduce the issue and any error messages.

8. What are the known limitations?
  • If a mailing list is an invited to the meeting, we do not currently have the ability to extract the individual emails from the list, so the AI-powered meeting notes page will not be shared with those individuals users.
  • For recurring meetings, you might have multiple parent pages for the same meeting series (due to inconsistencies with the meeting ID when changes are made to the meeting invite). In these cases, you might have a parent page titled “Weekly Project Sync” with a few child meeting notes pages, and then another page titled “Weekly Project Sync (1)” with other child pages. You can move the child pages manually so they are all under the same parent page. We are actively working on resolving this issue.
9. What happens after the open beta? Once the open beta ends, we’ll take your feedback and any necessary improvements. The feature will then officially launch in general availability (GA), and you’ll have access to it as part of the public release.
10. Can I share my experience or invite others to join? Yes, if you know someone who would be interested, feel free to invite them to join this group and try out the AI-powered meeting notes feature!
11. Are there any incentives for participating in the beta? Yes! To share our appreciation we’re offering a special community badge to participants upon the conclusion of the beta phase. Further details will be shared at a later date.

Cheers for this FAQ!

An additional question about language support for meeting notes - I'm guessing that same as for recap emails, meeting notes will be written in English (even though you might have a meeting in some other language)? In later stages, will AI-powered meeting notes also support additional languages (for example, we're having all/most of our meetings in Croatian)?

Hi @Tomislav Tobijas Correct, at this time meeting notes are only available in English. However, this is a fantastic suggestion and also aligns with many requests we received at Team '25.
