How to visualize Capacity planning in Kanban using Plans ?

Dear Team,

We have started using Scrum capacity planning/ mgt. using “Plans”. This is very useful in viewing capacity planning for teams in a program.

But we are struggling to visualize capacity allocation & utilization for Kanban.

Hi @Vishal Kochhar Capacity for Kanban teams is very limited in Plans.

First of all, Kanban teams can only use time-based estimates.

For Kanban teams, work is broken down into iterations which each last one week. You can set the weekly capacity of a Kanban team in either days or hours, but the length of the iteration cannot be changed.

The capacity of a Kanban team can only be measured in total hours/week for the entire team. There are no features regarding holiday schedules or workload schedules.

Personally, this is a huge pitfall/gap when using Plans in Jira Premium.

Yes, I tried for all available views in Plans but not able to visualize.
