Portfolio for JIRA - Unexpected Error

Added a new project to a plan and received the error in the bug report below.  What did I do that caused it?  What can I do to fix it?

I see that my colleague had you re-activate Portfolio to resolve this issue. Can you confirm if this indeed corrected the problem or if you're still having issues?
