When I set my sprint to Custom start date 12:00 AM to End Date 11:30 PM

when I do back and click edit sprint Jira is changing the type of sprint from custom to 2 weeks. The date range I have is the following: 

7/26/24 12:00 AM

8/8/24 11:30 PM

In Jira Plans when I select the sprint to plan my work the start date is correct and the end date is 8/9?  I need it to be 8/8.  Help please :)
