Hi All!

I would like to introduce myself to this community. I have recently started off as a Systems Administrator and would like to gather more knowledge base/suggestive learning paths, any tips?

Thanks!
Brenda

Welcome to the Atlassian Community, @Brenda Xuereb !

Could you please tell a bit more about which Atlassian tools you administer so that the community members can guide you accordingly?

Hope you have great learning and sharing experiences here!

@Taranjeet Singh - I would like to get more acquainted into the following streams:

- Jira Software
- Jira Service Management
- Jira Work Management
- Confluence
- Atlas
- Jira Align (Not sure exactly what this entails but would like to learn more)

Thanks!
Brenda

@Brenda Xuereb Atlassian has a lot of good ressources in their University: https://university.atlassian.com/student/catalog

their playbooks https://www.atlassian.com/team-playbook/plays

and their Agile guide: https://www.atlassian.com/agile

You cannot go wrong with this. Not too long and a good foundation.

You could also look for a local community to discuss topics that interest you or hear stories from the "real world". Maybe there is an atlassian user group in your area/country/language. Or you have a look at the "events" section here: https://ace.atlassian.com/events/

Someone already made the same suggestions I was going to make regarding the free online Atlassian University content; but first and foremost as you begin your journey is ENJOY IT; and if your going to be setting up Jira projects, don't overthink your workflows/statuses. If it is too 'over-engineered'; people will find it too burdensome to use, and you'll lose all the benefits.
