🍂🎃 Apptoberfest 2025: See the Full Traceability Picture with Links Explorer

🍻 Hey everyone — Apptoberfest 2025 is here, and so is your Jira sanity saver: Links Explorer

Ever opened a Jira work item and thought:
“Wait… how is THIS linked to THAT… and why is there a sub-sub-task from 2019 involved?”
Yeah. We’ve all been there.

That’s exactly why Links Explorer exists
If your teams wrestle with end-to-end traceability, work item webs, or surprise dependencies hiding three levels deep — this app cleans it up without the spreadsheet chaos.

What It Actually Does

Gives you a full visual map of multi-level relationships — so you can track impact, hierarchy, and linked work items instantly, inside Jira.

Key Features That Teams Use Daily

  • Hierarchy & link visualization across parents, children, and custom work item types
  • One-click multi-level navigation (no more “open in new tab” loops)
  • Traceability mode for QA, planning, audits, and impact checks
  • Filters + search to isolate what matters
  • Use conditional formatting to instantly spot risks, gaps, and priorities in your traceability reports

Real world Example

A requirement changes → Links Explorer instantly shows every downstream story, task, or test affected. No spreadsheets. No digging. No guessing.

Question for the Community

What’s the most complex link chain you’ve had to trace in Jira?

This is heaven-sent good UX, sometimes I can go into a loophole of linked tickets into bigger screens and forget where I actually started from. This is awesome.

Hey @Shivam Sharma - Optimizory I've added your demo to the unofficial Apptoberfest board, to make it easier to browse this year's submissions.
