In very recent years, companies have become more conscious of their security practices and customer data privacy. Organisations take rigorous steps to be security compliant and meet requirements for data protection.

For Move Work Forward, on our journey to acquiring our SOC 2 Type II compliance, we needed to streamline the Security Incident Response. This piece of the puzzle was very key for completing our security audit process. You can learn more about our security practices here.

Our team created a security incidence template to report security incidents internally. This template helps us to save time for the team and makes the actions follow a documented process, which is repeatable and predictable.

With the GitHub links for Confluence integration, the team can directly link the incident response to the GitHub repository where the security incident occurred so everyone responsible immediately has a full scope of the incident.
