🚀 Big news: Improved test automation comes to RTM for Jira!

Hello Atlassian Community,

We're thrilled to announce a major update for our Requirements and Test Management for Jira (RTM) app, featuring powerful new test automation capabilities designed to streamline your QA workflow!

What's new?

✅ Automated test case creation:
RTM now can create and link new Test Cases whenever you import automated test results—eliminating manual tasks and giving your team more time for strategic efforts.

✅ CI server integration (Jenkins & more to come):
Seamlessly integrate your preferred CI servers like Jenkins and trigger automated tests directly from RTM. Run automated tests effortlessly and consolidate your test results in one place.

✅ Easy filtering of automated tests:
Quickly distinguish automated Test Executions from manual ones with dedicated filtering. Easily pinpoint errors, analyze results, and create defects right from RTM.

✅ REST API for test results import:
Upload JUnit XML or zipped test results using RTM’s REST API. Create corresponding Test Executions, ensuring your QA data stays current and centralized.

✅ Centralized QA visibility:
RTM stores all your test outcomes in Jira, offering complete visibility from requirements through test results to defects—maintaining a single source of truth for your QA processes.

Why does it matter?

  • 🎯 Better consistency – Ensure all test results remain centralized in Jira, creating a reliable source of truth.

  • 🔄 Reduced manual effort – Eliminate repetitive tasks with automated creation and linking of Test Cases.

  • 🔗 Streamlined CI/CD pipelines – Integrate your testing seamlessly, providing continuous and immediate feedback.

Getting started is easy
