How Atlassian Partners Can Operationalize Innovation: Key Insights from Ignite 2025

At Ignite 2025, the Marketplace Growth Conference we attended as a Getint team, transformation was not just a topic - it was a clear call to action.

Opening with “Grow Together, as a Community”, keynote speaker Kieran McKenzie - an Atlassian Head of Ecosystem & Marketplace - challenged us to see transformation not as disruption, but as intentional evolution. In a world of constant change, conscious moves - built on trust, collaboration, and curiosity - are what drive real growth.

At Getint, this mindset isn’t abstract. It shows up in how we build, how we support our partners, and how we evolve also as a team.

“Once we reached out, the support from Getint was excellent. Quick responses, accommodating, and efficient. The agility of the team really stood out (....) With larger vendors, everything has to go through layers of approvals. Getint was different - fast, collaborative, and focused.” - John Aguiar from IATA (The International Air Transport Association), Enterprise Client, 2025

Transformation Is a Mindset

"Start to think about how you embrace the transformation to unlock the growth", said McKenzie.

That’s not a slogan. It’s a shift in how we think. Growth doesn’t just happen. It’s the result of curiosity, adaptability, and the discipline to rethink what’s possible.

Transformation starts with people. Constantly evolving teams ask:

  • What’s changing?
  • What’s around the corner?
  • How can we improve - not just for ourselves, but across the ecosystem?

Grow Together, as a Community

McKenzie made one thing clear: building solutions isn’t a solo mission anymore.

Success today is shared. It happens in ecosystems - where vendors, teams, and customers build together. Trust and autonomy are the foundation, and innovation thrives when diverse voices are heard and respected.

This resonates with us deeply because at Getint, we work hard to give our customers control over the way they integrate, scale, and grow. It manifests in how we can adapt to the clients requirements becoming a real integration Partner.

For example, for those companies that needed an extra solutions:

  • we developed proxy support to meet strict security protocols;
  • we run custom development process for Jira-ShotGrid integration;
  • we added custom scripting options during migrations - enhancing speed of data flow and flexibility, addressing the specific demands of large-scale migration using the Getint Archiver;
  • we extended integration compatibility by utilizing custom APIs.

"When choosing a company to work with, we had to weigh both the soft and hard factors. We needed a provider that could deliver an out-of-the-box solution that was easy to set up and reliable. Staying within budget, especially in the initial phases, was crucial. We also wanted to move quickly, without getting bogged down in bureaucracy or paperwork. Getint met all these needs, but more importantly, their team was incredible - friendly, supportive, and always had our back. It felt like working with a true partner, not just a service provider." - Simon Butscher, Lead Dev SecOps & Engineering from Lufthansa

Strategies That Drive Change

It’s all about practical, actionable strategies for driving real transformation. Below are four practical strategies to operationalize it being Atlassian Partner:

1. Stay in a Learning Mindset

Teams that grow are the ones that keep asking questions. Learning isn’t limited to training or certifications - it’s built into daily conversations, team retros, and cross-functional collaboration.

“Organizing brainstorming sessions or knowledge sharing meetings are our bread and butter - we assume that learning from each other develops us as team members and helps understand customers' common issues. Listening to others also gives us the opportunity to not get locked into our own perspective”.
- Radosław Wasiuk, Co-Founder at Getint

We also stay active in the Atlassian Community by sharing insights with those, who are looking for solutions streamlining their daily work. Check out our latest Jira DC-Jira Cloud migration guide.

2. Build a Culture of Innovation

Creating the conditions for innovation means giving people permission to experiment - and sometimes fail. Companies must be intentional about building environments where new ideas are not only welcomed but expected.

“Today’s trends are tomorrow’s reality.”

3. Collaborative Ecosystem Success

Success in tech ecosystems hinges on collaborative efforts between vendors and partners that promote innovation, flexibility, and shared values.

“At Getint, we see this every day - real value happens when we listen to our customers and build together. That's why we interview our clients - to match their real needs with real solutions and areas where they want to make changes”.
- Jacek Wizmur-Szymczak, Co-Founder at Getint

Moreover, when it comes to collaboration, we are dedicated to responding to the growing community needs. That’s why we work closely with Atlassian to deliver the best, secure solutions - participating in the Bug Bounty Program, holding Cloud Fortified Status, and recently achieving next security certification with the partnership of Vanta - SOC 2 Type II.

4. Flexible procurement is the new baseline

McKenzie spoke about resilience and adaptability - qualities not just of people, but of the tools they use. Getint’s flexible procurement models allow organizations of all sizes to scale integrations at their own pace, whether they’re running lean or managing global operations.

  • No vendor lock-in
  • Transparent pricing
  • Support for both cloud and on-prem setups
  • Compliance with data residency and security requirements

“From the beginning, Getint stood out as a partner that could match ISCG’s practical needs. The platform offered an affordable licensing model and a clean, intuitive interface. Just as importantly, the Getint team was responsive and collaborative - a critical factor for a company like ISCG that values close, goal-oriented relationships with its vendors.” - Filip Bywalec from ISCG (a leading Microsoft services and consulting provider)

Getint: Built for Intentional Transformation

In the spirit of Ignite 2025’s call to “embrace transformation and unlock your growth,” in Getint, we stand for a practical embodiment of that philosophy - delivering the tools and flexibility needed to operationalize transformation across teams, workflows, and entire ecosystems.

Bridging Systems Without Breaking Flow

Our integration platform solves a critical modern challenge: how to unify distributed teams and disparate tools without enforcing rigid, top-down structures. Whether it's Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, GitHub, or other tools, at Getint, we connect systems without asking teams to change how they work.

This is a perfect match for Ignite’s 2025 opening state on collaborative guidance and trust-based environments. By letting teams retain autonomy over their tools while still enabling cross-team visibility and alignment, we foster both independence and interdependence, a hallmark of today's transformative organizations.

Final Thoughts: Transformation Begins with You

Ignite 2025 wasn’t just about trends, it was a reminder that the future lies in those who act with purpose. Whether you’re leading a team, building products, or just trying to make collaboration smoother, transformation is possible and necessary.

Let’s build smarter, more connected systems - together.
