Jira contains a wealth of useful project data — data that can be used to create the project management reports the organization craves. Unfortunately, the kinds of calculations needed to use this data effectively has long required an external program, such as Excel — where the information is immediately outdated — or the use of complicated scripts.

This changes with the release of Structure 6.0 and our newest automation feature: Effectors. Now users can easily create their own Excel-like formulas with always-current Jira data and update Jira fields with the results.
