In Jira, you can make multiple changes to your issues simultaneously (Bulk Change).

How about bulk reverting those changes?

Our team is considering adding a bulk revert option for Issue History for Jira, and we need your help. 

Would it be helpful to bulk revert changes for issues? If so, what changes and fields exactly (description, status, comments, or other)?

In order to know what to bulk change you need to analyze the changes.

CIFJ - Issue History Dashboard for Jira, an app that our company just released, can help you search, filter and export to CSV such data.

You can later extract from the CSV data the part that you want to use for a bulk change to revert the changes.
