Can Confluence calendar events be sorted?

Latest posts I can find are roughly two years old and I'm hoping that there's been some update.

We've recently started leaning more heavily on shared calendars and it would be very helpful to be able to sort the entries on any given day by Event Type. Is there any kind of sorting functionality that we can use?

Confluence itself doesn't have built-in calendar sorting functionality for Event Types in its Team Calendars plugin. but Atlassian continues to evolve its tools, so it's worth keeping an eye on future releases.
