Hi.
I have 10 screen tabs on issue edit schema.
I want to add per each tab a description (to tell user what to do).
I want to avoid adding 10 custom fields to show that.
Best solution will be showing something by behaviors on the fly.
Problem is that I don't what to use field description or help text. Because in that case help text is below first field instead of show message before (under) filed.
Do you have some ideas how to do it?
I think rather than installing another plugin, I would in fact use a custom text field at the top of each screen and put some useful info and links in there. Or use ScriptRunner to add a web panel in the issue to display the info perhaps
I agree on avoiding creating additional fields just for information, as it could bloat your field count. Though it is an option.
You may want to use ProForma, which would allow you to create a dynamic form with instructions. You could create multiple pages to correspond to each screen tab. The fields in ProForma would populate the Jira issue customfields if they are linked properly. This would require you to purchase the add on from the market place I believe.
