We are looking at installing the ALM - Test Management for Jira Cloud app in our Jira instance as it looks like a good way to connect the test cases with the development work items.
I understand from the documentation that you can add multiple ALM server configurations in the ALM – Test Management for Jira plugin. Are you able to restrict the Jira projects that connect to these servers? Specifically, we use our Jira to manage projects with users who are external to our own company and as Jira has Private Projects this model has worked very well for us.
How are the individual Jira projects connected to the ALM instances so that the information in ALM remains private and contained within the selected projects.
I do not want the other external users to be able to see that ALM servers from other domains are connected to our Jira instance.
I have been looking at the documentation posted here ALM - Test Management for Jira Plugin and here ALM - Test Management for Jira Cloud | Atlassian Marketplace if there is anything else that might provide more information, please provide a link.
Thank you for your help in advance
