Hi Team,

While using User Story Map(USM) plugins from within Jira, we noticed that the priority indicated by the position of the stories on the USM are not reflected in the priority of the backlog. While we move a story from right to left on the storymap, we expect its position in the product backlog to go higher. But this is not happening. We have used EasyAgile USM tool and Advanced story map tool for this.

Regards,

Juna

Hi Juna,

My name is Henri and I’m a support engineer here at Easy Agile. Thanks for reaching out directly to the Easy Agile support team as well to share a screenshot of the specific problem.

I've provided more information in the support ticket regarding your specific case.

On the User story map page in the Easy Agile TeamRhythm app:

  • The Epics on the User story map are shown in order, based on their order on the Jira backlog.
  • Then, the stories/issues in those Epics are shown underneath the parent Epic in order. This means that stories can only be reordered relative to other stories in the same Epic

Kind regards,
Henri, Support Engineer @ Easy Agile
