Hi Jira Community!
I’ve developed a Chrome extension called Jira Release Manager to help streamline and simplify the release management process in Jira. The goal is to assist project managers in better tracking releases, automating some common tasks, and offering a more intuitive interface.
I’d love to get feedback from community members who might be interested in testing the extension and sharing their thoughts, suggestions, or potential improvements.
You can check out the extension here: Jira Release Manager on Chrome Web Store.
(works with Jira Cloud only)
Please note, the extension uses the same Jira session you’re already logged into on the Jira site, so it does not ask for or store any credentials. Your data and session remain secure as it interacts only with your existing Jira Cloud session.
What features would you like to see included? Are there any specific challenges you face in release management within Jira that this extension could help solve?
Thanks in advance for any comments, and I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
Best regards,

I checked the screenshots, and I'm wondering what advantages does it give over build in Jira release notes?
What's in it for me? Can I do something faster? get more details?
