Looking to leverage Jira and ServiceNow into one integration. I see the steps and a

rather than use - Exalate node for ServiceNow (costs) I would prefer to use an OOB solution. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

In my last company we created an integration OOB for SNOW to Jira Software integration. On the Jira side we utilized the Jira Webhook, API token, and Service Account or Jira User account with Jira administrator rights. All the heavy lifting was done on the SNOW side, as you will have to provide the Jira User, Jira API token (this has to be created with the account that you are supplying). Below is some documentation from ServiceNow that will help. It was time consuming simply because we ran through several scenarios like keeping it to one particular project but again this is all done on SNOW.

@Karen Krabbenhoft hello. Feel free to check out ZigiOps on the Atlassian marketplace. It's fully no-code integration platform that connects and syncs data between Jira-ServiceNow. It does not save any of the info transferred, so it's 100% safe and it can customized to fit any use case scenario. You can even give it a try via its free trial

Regards,

Diana

Hi @Karen Krabbenhoft, I'm from Unito - we're an Atlassian partner with a ServiceNow integration. It's an OOB 2-way sync platform that supports ServiceNow, Jira and 50+ other tools. Here's a general overview of the Jira ServiceNow integration. It offers a lot of versatility/flexibility with support for all Jira standard fields, most custom fields, attachments, etc.

In about 15 minutes you can set up a flow that turns Jira issues into ServiceNow records and vice versa with real-time updates. Check it out and let me know if you have any questions! I can set you up with a live demo or a free consultation with our team.

Thanks @Carmen Nadeau I was able to get with a peer who has created the connection before I am working out the flow in flow designer to create the issue using the project key from jira thank you for the link. I have added this to my toolkit.

Hi @Karen Krabbenhoft,

Welcome to Atlassian Community!

The only OOB solution is the one that allows you to import assets into JSM and Assets. For anything else you would need one of the app in the Marketplace that can sync between the two or the integration that SNow offer, but that one you have to pay for as well.

@Mikael Sandberg Thank you for your quick response. Yes, I did see that. I also would need to get my team's temp on moving to JSM. Thanks for all your help.
