Set expression in Confiforms Rules for Field Definition gives different results before/after submit

Hello,

I am using formulas and doing calculations in Confiforms Rules for Field Definition and setting values, using Set expression to a read only field. I am doing average and the answer is coming right in the read only field before hitting submit button. After hitting submit button, the value somehow become 3 times, and later values which is dependent on first value also changes. I am pretty new to creating forms, please help here.

Hi @Shivalika Sharma 

Most probably you have multiple rules that do the "set expression" or the rule is bound to many fields which is set to run on form load (probably 3 fields or rules, giving you the multiplied results)

If that's the case then configure those(this) rules to "run on user action only" (parameter on the rule). So they will not run on form load
