Using multiple filters in Tempo Timesheets report

christine_meimari March 27, 2025

Hello,

I am using multiple filters in a Tempo Timesheet report and I am wondering why I'm getting different results.  Does it use the AND or the OR operator?

Hello Christine,

if you are referring to the Tempo logged time report, we have a document that might assist you with grouping, please kindly have a look: https://help.tempo.io/timesheets/latest/grouping-and-sorting-data-in-reports

Hope this helps and should you have questions, please do not hesitate to contact Tempo Support

Thank you, the document does help.

Yes the Tempo logged time report.  I was referring to multiple Jira filters using JQL or scriptrunner advanced search filters.  Each filter represents a project with other criteria.  I include two or more filters in the same report and was wondering about the output when the data from these filters overlap.  example: an epic in projectA having children in projectB, and using the function childrenOf in my filters.  Will the data of the children appear twice?

Thanks again
