Hello,
I'm not sure if I'm saying this correctly, but my understanding is that Assets Discovery generates an object hash as a unique identifier before uploading to the cloud CMDB. Subsequent uploads use that identifier to determine if the uploaded object data is new (create object) or existing (update object).
Given that, if an object is created by a JSM Assets Manager integration first and is then discovered by Assets Discovery, how does the Asset Discovery upload reconcile with the object?
My hope is that the Assets Discovery sync will be moving to the JSM Assets Manager.
Thanks!
Regards, Paul
Learning now that the expectation is that you import your schema from Asset Management into Data Manager. You then import back from DM into AM.

This is a topic I would like more information on as well. If we are currently using Asset Discovery for existing imports, will duplicates be created by Data Manager? Thanks!
