How do you manage your goals & projects?

The Atlassian Home team is interested in learning more about how you manage your team's goals and projects.

Are you using Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, or some other tool to track goals and projects?

I think the answer is quite divers but also interesting. For operational goals and projects I would indeed say app liks Excel. SharePoint, Sheets, Atlassian suite.

But I also worked for organizations that worked on top of that with dedicated HR tools for tactical/strategic objectives, often presented as OKR's being linked to KPIs. Those tools did not had extensive workflows if I remember correctly and were mainly operated by managers for goal tracking. Think indicators in traffic light style. My best guess is because that's more easy to present to the manager's most important stakeholders like management and auditors.

We use Google Sheets, and the features are also from Leanix. I'm trying to roll out the Goal section of Home, but the concept of objectives in teams is very disparate.

Moreover, as we cannot manage the rights (admin, creation, following) it will quickly become unmanageable
