Does Rovo support JPD's custom fields?

Hi there,

 

Does Rovo currently support JPD's custom fields?

On the Rovo pricing page, it states that they are already available for JPD. However, when I tried asking some questions related to our real-world JPD projects, it couldn’t even recognize the custom fields. For example:

 

Me: What is the renewal date of [Customer Name]?
Rovo: I was unable to retrieve the renewal date for [Customer Name] from the available data. It seems that the "Next Renewal Date" field is not filled in the system for this customer. You may want to check the details directly in the system or contact the relevant account manager for more information.

Me: Who is the account manager for it?
Rovo: I found the issue related to "[Customer Name]", but it seems that the "Account Manager" field is not filled in the system. You may want to check the details directly in the system or contact the relevant department for more information. You can view the issue.
Rovo can see the field but does not read it. Very strange issue.

I can only add that Rovo does not have access to idea insights.

But I did manage to use the description (in an automation action)

Thank you. I will try automation rules later.

However, the Rovo Agent and Rovo Chat still need to support JPD custom fields for end-users, we just cannot build 30+ automation rules for our end-users to just retrieve fields LoL.

Well, possibly, I think you could setup an automation rule which sets all custom field data to a dummy description field which Rovo would be able to read

Hi Rimantas,

Thank you for the solution. I just want to let you know that it works for now, and it was very helpful.

However, if we put all the necessary information into the Description, we lose access control over the data. Anyone who can open the item will be able to see the plain text in the Description, which isn't ideal. Therefore, we still need JPD's official connection to Rovo AI.

That said, your solution is really good in the meantime. Thank you again.
