New navigation in Analytics!

Hi, team!

We’re excited to let you know that a new navigation experience is coming to Analytics starting the week of October 1, 2025. This update introduces a fresh look with a top navigation bar that’s consistent with your other Atlassian apps, along with a collapsible sidebar that makes it faster and more intuitive to find your most important dashboards and data.

What’s changing for navigation in Analytics

• Designed to be faster and more intuitive, helping you quickly find the dashboards and data sources that matter most.

• Aligned with the rest of Atlassian, with a consistent top navigation bar and a collapsible sidebar that give Analytics a familiar, seamless feel.

Key features

	Decluttered top navigation Quickly search for dashboards, charts, or data sources from the top center of the page, so the information you need is always within reach.
	Quick access to your work Easily find your starred and recently viewed dashboards directly from the sidebar, so you can get back to what matters without extra clicks.
	Admin improvements The sidebar is now a one-stop shop for admins to manage. “Templates”, “Data sources”, and “Data shares” are now directly accessible from the sidebar. Note: You can still manage templates from the “Dashboards” page.

How do I collapse the navigation? I’m looking for a way to hide the sidebar and get more screen space, but I can’t find it.	Select the icon at the top left to expand or collapse the sidebar. Expanding shows the full sidebar; collapsing frees up screen space. Resize the sidebar by dragging its right edge.
Why do Search and Notifications function differently compared to other Atlassian apps?	We’re actively working on bringing powerful search and global notifications into Analytics.
Why don’t I see Rovo Chat?	Rovo Chat isn’t available in Analytics yet, but we're working on it.

It's great to see that Analytics, Jira, and the other Atlassian products now truly feel like a cohesive family from the same company. The new UI looks polished and professional—unlike the previous design, which always felt more like a beta version.
