When I go and enable a column on the Project Directory, say "Start Date" or "Team", if I refresh the page, or navigate away from it and back, my columns become disabled again and only the default columns display. Is there a way to make these column changes permanent?
This happens because Jira doesn't save column customizations per user by default in the Project Directory. Unfortunately, there's no built-in way to make these changes permanent. You can try using filters or dashboards for more control, or check if your Jira admin can configure shared views or use an app like ScriptRunner or Jira Enhancer Plugin to customize the UI persistently.
