We are thrilled to announce that AI work creation from MS Teams is now available in Beta! This feature allows you to seamlessly convert messages in Microsoft Teams into Jira work items without having to context switch between tools. By leveraging AI, this feature automatically generates concise summaries and detailed descriptions from a selected message. Less copy & paste, less open tabs and less breaking focus!
Open MS Teams and locate the message you want to convert.
Click on the three-dot menu and select "Create work item in Jira."
Choose the appropriate Jira site and project - ensure it is a Jira site with AI enabled.
Toggle on AI to generate the summary and description then click “Create”
