Hi,
We got customers that would like to get more insight in cloud performance and also have some kind of action plan for when performance is not acceptable.
Are there any specific URL's that we could access for response time measuring?
And is there anything the customers can do as an action on slow response time (besides contacting atlassian support?)
Regards,
Laurens
Hi @Laurens Coppens
First to introduce myself, I’m from the PM team on Confluence Cloud, specifically working on Performance. We have opened up this “Cloud - Reliability & Performance” group to be a central place for users to go report things, but we still view it as the second option after going through support -> support has many more benefits to it, but here is a good backup option.
We’ll hopefully be able to dive into more detail in a few weeks or month, but for right now I can say we’re definitely working on performance issues in general. Regarding your specific other questions:
We will also be publishing more information over the next few months, you can see the beginnings here:
@Dennis Lu
I realize this is an old post, but the links above no longer work, and I can't find the group reference in the post. Is there anything related to performance or performance monitoring still going on at Atlassian?
Last year we migrated from Confluence Server to Confluence Cloud, and ever since, many users have been consistently complaining about slow page load times. We have opened cases with Atlassian several times, but no real traction or progress has been made.
I would also be interested to know if there are any features planned or existing third party applications that can monitor page load times per page so that we can quantify the problem and build a dashboard in Atlassian Analytics with pages that have the worst average load times. Are you aware of any features planned or 3rd party applications that keep track of time to render?
Thanks!
