Atlassian Cloud backups for non-Enterprise plans?

Hi all,

The Organization administration Documentation page Overview of Atlassian backups states that Atlassian is "rolling out a new backup and restore experience for a limited number of customers on the Enterprise plan through a beta program."

What does this mean for the current Atlassian Cloud backup solution for non-Enterprise (i.e. Standard/Premium) customers?

Is the documentation still valid?

Can Standard/Premium customs still connect to an Amazon S3 storage?

The current documentation articles are rather ambiguous about this.

Hi Dave,

Good question. The new backup and restore functionality mentioned in the docs is indeed being rolled out first to Enterprise customers through a limited beta. For Standard and Premium plans, the existing backup solution documented in Atlassian Support is still valid — you can continue to generate site exports and use the available APIs.

At this time, the S3 storage connection is only part of the Enterprise beta program, so Standard/Premium customers don’t have direct access to that integration. If Atlassian expands the new experience beyond Enterprise, it will be updated in the documentation and on the Cloud Roadmap.
