To enable two-factor authentication (2FA) for your Atlassian account when logged in through a Microsoft account, you will need to follow these steps:

1. **Access Atlassian Account Security Settings:**
- Go to your Atlassian Account: (https://id.atlassian.com/manage-profile/security).
- Navigate to the **Security** section.

2. **Manage Two-Step Verification:**
- Select **Manage two-step verification**.
- You will be prompted to enter your password to initiate the 2FA setup process.

3. **Password Requirement:**
- Since you mentioned that the password is not the same as your Microsoft account, you may need to reset your Atlassian account password if you don't remember it. This can typically be done through a password reset option on the login page.

4. **Complete 2FA Setup:**
- Follow the on-screen instructions to set up 2FA using your preferred method (e.g., authentication app, security key, etc.).

If you encounter issues with the password or need further assistance, consider reaching out to Atlassian support for help with resetting your password or enabling 2FA.
