Two IT Peeps, 4,655 users

I have been managing Confluence/JIRA for 4 years. We started with 150 users and have grown to 4,655 with over 400 users actively using the system daily. We design metadata for clinical trial research. I am looking for innovative tools to help our teams collaborate and communicate more efficiently with less emails and simple issue management. I would also like to learn how to build a user group system like this using confluence.
