Bamboo labels not working

I just finished adding build labels to some of our builds assuming if I filtered by that build label it would show only those builds.

It doesnt work.

I added these labels through configuration-> actions->modify plan label.

The label shows under the plan heading in the upper left but filtering from the dashboard and checking the label I want to appear does not work?

Do I need to restart Bamboo to have this take effect?

OK I figured this out. The build has to run at least one time after you apply the label for the label to show in the filter.
