I created a project in JIRA and linked the project with Bamboo.
I deleted the project and tried to create a project with the same key of the deleted project
but it displays following error.
"Bamboo project with that key already exists in the remote instance".
I've noticed that all deleted projects in JIRA still keep existing in Bamboo.
Is there any way to clean up those unwanted projects in Bamboo?
Same problem here. Very frustrating.
Hi
I've been waited for more than one week but the unwanted projects still exist inside bamboo hence those project keys can't be recreated in Jira. We've decided to use Jenkins instead of Bamboo.

Bamboo deletes projects in the background. You need to wait a minute or so before you can recreate the same project key.
