Can I link existing EC2 instance to Bamboo OnDemand?

Given I have an existing EC2 instance running on AWS, is it possible to hook that up to Bamboo OnDemand? Basically I'd like to know if I can install an elastic agent on it and have it run builds triggered by Bamboo OnDemand?

Or must Bamboo OnDemand be the one that always creates Elastic Instances?

Not possible, Bamboo OnDemand server has to be the one that creates the instance.
